All of this discussion makes me smile, LLLI called their handbook "the
Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" 50 + years ago and guess what you can not
medicalize  or, scientific-ize  it now and guess what you never will!

Pat in SNJ, who is tired of reading stupid research reports on whether or
not breast feeding prevents infections.  The amount of time the babies are
breastfed in these studies is ridiculous! (2 weeks, 3 mo etc, hardly ever
exclusive -ugh))
