Great article about a very positive program.  I do wish they had used
breastfeeding as the norm and "Wiessingerized" their comparisons instead
of talking about how breastfed babies are healthier than bottle fed
(should have been how bottle fed are less healthy than breastfed).
The thing that bothered me more was the description of how the mom in
the article was told to latch baby:

."She should be in the crook of your arms," Scott instructed...........
."Now tickle her chin; wait till she opens up really big....

While it was comfortable for this mom (so far), this is a recipe for
sore nipples and inadequate intake for so many mom/babies.  With this
description, most babies will not get the lower jaw on far enough to
effectively nurse.  I'd be willing to bet that mom's nipple looked like
a Nuk when baby let go.  While some babies can manage to nurse
effectively in positions that would be disaster for others, I would hate
to think a mother reading the article would think this is the best way
to latch and then give up because her nipples got sore and baby wasn't
getting enough milk.
