Everyone,
After 10 days, two hospitals, two days in Intensive Care, a 60 mile
ambulance ride, 25 doctors, 1,000 tests and 6 or so diagnoses....my Lucas is
on his way home right now. He had strep, strep septic shock AND Kawasaki
Syndrome!!!!! His heart is fine and he is fine......mommy and daddy have a
few more gray hairs but thrilled he is ok. THANKS to you all who shared
their wisdom and compassion. Thanks especially to Nancy Foster...fellow
Lactnet peer whose son also had KS and actually took the time to track us
down to phone today!

Lucas is turning 8 tomorrow and we have much to celebrate.

Love your babies and your grandbabies..life is wonderful and precious!

Mary Anderson
