Helen - my local paper (the Boston Globe) also published an article about
this study also. The protein lactadherin seemed to protect against
rotavirus in 200 Mexican BF moms; better protection even than the rotavirus
antibody. Article said study was published in the Lancet; author was David
Newburg/Harvard Medical school (this must be why the Boston paper printed
the info.) Pub date in the Lancet cited as April 18th, 1998.
