I just need to mention that I introduced an LLL conference session on herbs
and breastfeeding (cooking with them, actually!), and Blessed Thistle was
mentioned by the Chinese doctors as an herb known to them to help promote
good milk supply. The others included fenugreek, nettle leaf, and raspberry
leaf.  I don't know the actual effect of each, perhaps some work with
prolactin, some with oxytocin, to help overall milk production.
