I've been looking at internet breastfeeding support and came across a paper
that might provide some food for thought.

Dunham et al. (1998). Computer-mediated social support: Single young mothers
as a model system. American Journal of Community Psychology  26: 281-306.

Putting the mother in touch with another young mum who is or did breastfeed
can provide her with a model of how you can be young and breastfeed and
provide support for her to do that if it is what she wants.  Peer support is
different from support from a professional such as yourself. One way of
putting young mums in touch with one another is via the internet.
