I had a call today from a locan Physician's Assistant. She has a client who
did a two week course of Reglan, but noticed a significant dip in her supply
as she decreased. The PA's question to me was why can't the mother take it
longer than the two week regimen.

All I can offer is personal experience. Until recently I did not know
Reglan was only supposed to be used for 2 weeks...I used it for months and months
because fenugreek did nothing for me, and without Reglan my milk supply was
minimal at best. Luckily I had no bad side effects. (tardive diskenisia sp?
etc.) Anyway...I am sure this isn't acceptable as norm in anyway shape or
form, just happy that nothing bad cameof it....still nursing but since she eats
more solids and such my milk is now adequate.
