I think that it is imparitive to look at the baby and not at the scale. It
helps to see what the family pattern is... how big are the other children?
how big are the parents? what was the gain like in the others? if the baby
is
happy and healthy then put away the scale.
the difficulty with a bell curve is that we sometimes forget there are
people
at either of the ends... not just in the middle.
