It does sound like retained placenta with possible edometritis due to the
temperature she is experiencing.  Definitely would follow-up with Ob and
continue efforts to stimulate supply.  The fact that she has continued to
breastfeed/pump may have saved her from a serious postpartum hemorrhage if it
is found she has retained placenta.  It is quite unusual to have "a period 10
days postpartum" you would still expect either lochia serosa or lochia alba.
Occasionally in a mother who is over-exerting herself she can experience a
return of or increase in bleeding.  Good Luck, I think your on the right
track here.
