In my experience, over many years, for most infants with orange stools it is part of the normal range.  It is often the case with orange "skid marks", which is what my Mums call a very small BM that looks like a smear from a paintbrush.
That doesn't rule out that occasionally an orange stool can mean a small amount of blood from near the anus, but I'd expect to see some other signs.  Usually, orange is part of the normal range.
