I like your approach of telling mothers that
"some of those pumps work for some moms, but that mostly I have heard that
they don't work *as well* as the ones we all know are the best."
Legal issues aside, I think it is counter-productive to slam the competition.
(Are you listening Ms. Robin?) I would rather not state categorical
opinions on something of which I have no personal experience. I would rather
say, "Many mothers have found...", "I have heard that...", "I know many
women who...", etc.. A mother is more likely to listen when we speak gently.
