   not sure if this will help but clotting factor does not begin to function
until approximately the 8th day of life... i am sorry i do not have the
reference....

   circ are traumatic and cause babies to shut down...i think that the
hospital procedure does not help...keep baby and mom apart for extended time,
give infant a paci if doc is delayed....
