Dear wise ones,

I'd like to pose a hypothesis I heard on another list (with permission of
that poster), to hear wether you have heard of this or experienced it with
patients/clients or to get opinions.

The woman posting told us: ''An LC told me that she had the impression that
longtime nursing by women with problems in the hormonal processes does
actually improve their hormone status. She does not have any proof of this. I
(the poster) have hormone problems and after breastfeeding my daughter for 16
months I suddenly started to heve my periods nicely every 4 weeks and even
had ovulations, proven by temperature changes, which I never had before and
could predict an upcoming menstruation.''

What do you all think?

Warmly greeting,

Gonneke
