There have been several on the list now, and I'll add mine. My son
started biting me while teething at 9 months of age. He never had a
pacifier, but did suck his thumb. He'd bite hard, sometimes hard enough
to draw blood, I'd jump and gasp, and he'd cry. There was a brief
nursing strike, then we started back up and all was well until he
stopped breastfeeding at 18 months of age.
My daughter also never had a pacifier but liked her thumb. She never
bit, and nursed until she was two and a half.
