Hi. Just received a program from the midwife about a breastfeeding
conference in Chicago on March 26-- Baby knows Breast: Sensory-motor
integration and breastfeeding. Does anyone know if it will be good? I
would like to go, but thought I would ask about it first. Our hospital OT
is very interested in infant feeding and breastfeeding in particular. She
has had some training, but not a lot of hands on experience. We work in
the same hospital and she was very excited to hear that I would like her
and I to work as a team to help some of these breastfeeding babies. She is
also very interested in craniosacral therapy and sensory-motor integration.
She is also is very open to new ideas.

I showed her the conference program and she would like to go also. For an
OT, would this be a good conference to go to? Are there other conferences
coming up that would be better for her? She also wants to learn more about
the normal course of breastfeeding, which I can help her with and we have
some good courses in the city. Let me know what you think. Any OTs on the
list? Thank you so much.
