Hi, I need information regarding the dosage and number of doses usually
recommended for Diflucan. I am working with a mother of a 3 month old with
persistent yeast (despite continuous use of topical nystatin on nipples,
treating her vaginal infection, treating baby's diaper rash and baby's
mouth.) Her health care provider, a CNM, is willing to use Diflucan but is
hesitant to prescribe more than the 1 time dose listed for vaginal yeast. If
anyone has used this successfully please comment or e-mail me directly.
After finally convincing her CNM that systemic medication may be needed - we
are "stuck" on the dosage.
