Pat, the drug of choice for lactation supression in Israel is now Dostinex.
I don't think that there are any docs who are still giving Parlodel.....it
is contraindicated for this use also here.  I see the pre-prepared block of
Dostinex scripts sitting on the table at the nurse's station and it really
bothers me......I have been known to accidently knock it into the garbage.
Oops!!!  We have several mothers who have taken it only to find that their
baby desperately needs breast milk and we have to wait out the half-life and
start relactation.....we have actually had several good outcomes!!
