Hiring RN as L/C also has to do with Labor Laws - If you function in a job description - your pay must be equal 
Whose pay scale to you use - if you are a dietican - an RN - Speech - pay can be based on licensure as well as education
Master more than BA. the second consideration is LICENSURE - you have to have a license to cut hair, do nail and even groom dogs. Hospitals can not hire unlicensed assitive persons and ask them to function in an "expanded' Role
