<<A local LC once took over a complicated LLL case here for us and said
this was due to a 'pinched nerve'; and this was marked by a white line
on the nipple.>>

Where is the Pinched Nerve? In the Back? Why would a white line
indicate a pinched nerve?

Sorry sorry I don't know. The reason I put this up was it seemed weird and
I thought someone out there who knows more than I do might know all about it!
I think the white line was just a sign that the nipple was badly
compressed, this leading to 'nerve pain' in breast. My La Leche Leader
struggled for weeks with all usual solutioins for nipple/breast pain, then
talked to an IBCLC who "said it was a pinched nerve". Please forgive
ignorance but that's all I know....

Thanks to those who sent private post re Medicaid. It seems to vary vastly
from state to state. Any more input? And do any of you get Medicaid
reimbursement for other lactation services?
