Please allow me to play devil's advocate in this issue; not that I support
this but that some of the letters being sent are diluting their impact. HOW?
By asking proprietary financial questions that may have relevance to the BOD
of ICEA but may be bound by confidentiality issues between the "sponsors" and
ICEA.  The issue of violating the WHO code and their support of breastfeeding
should be first and foremost in our protests and comments. The financial
impact they may feel by losing members and conference attendees is one that
may be more easily visualized.  By including these types of questions, even
if they are rhetorical, the letter may be in jeopardy of being discounted as,
that's none of your business or we are bound by contracts not to share that
information.
I DO agree that ICEA needs to be aware of our concerns and the implications
of their actions.
