I have been working with a mother who had a breast reduction many years ago.
This is her third baby, and she was not successful in breastfeeding with the
first two. She was told that this was because of the surgery. However, this
time, after a slow start (due in part to baby's sucking problems), she is
now exclusively breastfeeding and baby (now 2 months old) is gaining really
well. She is so happy!! I was impressed by her determination to give it a
try again after two very discouraging experiences, and so glad for her that
it worked.
