Hello fellow lactnetters!

I am posting this with permission from one of the moms who attend our local
LLL meetings.

This Mom is nursing a four year old child, he still nurses frequently.
Nursing is very important to them.

The Mom is 36, and has been trying to concieve for a year now, with no
pregnancies. Her family doctor has referred her to a GYN. However her
doctor had stated that the GYN will not treat her until she weans her son.
She is very upset about this.

Does anyone know of any studies that could support her decision to continue
nursing while exploring her fertility issues? Any suggestions?
