  I heard Paula Meier speak this week and she said that SODIUM leaks from
interstitial fluid into the milk when this happens. She had an excellent
slide showing a diagram of the "leaky" junctures between alveolia. She
mentioned a case in which a premie was getting too much sodium from mom's
milk at this time. Isn't this also why the milk taste changes as mom goes
through weaning and subtle fullness occurs?
