Hi Judy,
What in intriging question? I find it difficult to please everyone, the nurses
the manager (time issues) and juggling it all together. We see moms in the
hospital in the morning, about 10:30 since the docs come earlier and all babies
are being seen, then we have about 4 hours to see everyone, then its off to
the postpartum clinic. I am fortunate to be able to schedule the postpartum
clinic around hours that I pick up my child to and from school. Its a juggling
act thats for sure. The clinic is a good walk from the hospital. I do get my
exercise (though you'd never know) :). I'd love to hear from other LC's in
this situation and how you make it work.

I did get my position benefited part-time, which is wonderful. Now I actually
can take a sick day and it PTO. (paid time off). Only took 9 years!

from soggy northern California
