Dear Friends,
I have a client with a refluxy, oversupplied baby. Today, her sympathetic
pedi prescribed levsin for the baby. In Hale, 2000 ed., he states "Levsin
(hyoscyamine) drops have in the past been used directly in infants for
colic, although it is no longer recommended for this use." Why not?
Should she be worried about this med? Thanks for your thoughts.
