Pyridium is an urinary acidifier/antiseptic/analgesic.
Since it is an acidic drug, it should not get into breast milk in great
quantities.
There should be no problem with several days of therapy.
Have the mother drink plenty of fluids (including cranberry juice if
possible).
The mother's urine will turn red.
