Virginia Thorley, one of Lactnet's, and the lactation world's, first, and
most endearing, researchers, writers, advocates, mentors and leaders, is
recovering from the surgery to correct breaks in both legs after a nasty
fall recently. She will be moved to the recuperative hospital soon, where
she beings a 6-8 week in-patient recovery course.

She is still without e-mail access -- all the more reason for those of you,
who have not done so, to participate in the card party we are generating for
her. If you are an IBCLC -- an ILCA member -- a mother-to-mother counselor
-- an Aussie -- a reader of research -- then your life has been touched by
Virginia's. Send her a note to wish her well, and tell her thanks!

Those is North America and environs are encouraged to contact me OFF
LACTNET, at [log in to unmask], so that I can exchange with you an appropriate
mailing address for your card (I will collect a bunch of them mailed here in
the USA, and then ship them in one big lump to Australia). Those in
Australia and environs are encouraged to contact Karleen Gribble OFF
LACTNET, at [log in to unmask], so that she may share approriate
mailing information with those closer to our recuperating gem.
