The idea for adjusting or tamping down an over abundant supply is not how
long the baby nurses on one side (ex: 20-30 min), but how many hours mom
goes back to using same side. Ex. Use left breast only, no matter how many
times baby nurses during 4 hour period. Then for next 4 hours use right
breast. Some moms have to extend this to 6 or 8 hour periods. Personally
I think the 4 hour fussy period in the evening is an indication that over
abundant supply might be the problem with this little guy. Sincerely, Pat
in SNJ
