Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, (with over 8,000 deliveries /year) has 8 IBCLCs on staff - 5 full time and 3 part-time/casual. Of those, 4 are RNs and 4 are non-RNs.

I believe Jersey Shore University Hospital has at least one non-RN IBCLC (though most are RNs). University Hospital in Newark has had one. In NYC, NYU Langone Medical Center has them. Also where I used to work at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel, all the LCs were non-RN but the lactation dept there has closed down due to the impending closure of the the Mother Baby Unit.
