Of course IV steroids to the mother are okay. We give it to mothers
during premature labour and the baby gets tons. We give it to babies
for all sorts of reasons (asthma, for example). The amount in the milk
is minimal.

The risks of formula feeding? Are we considering this. You cannot just
look at the possible risks of some steroids in the milk. (The
prednisolone is also okay, by the way). You have to look at the risks
of formula feeding.

Back to the breast! For the sake of the mother, for the sake of the
baby. Remember, one of the risks associated with formula feeding is
inflammatory bowel disease.
