I had to remove a display window I had up last year because someone
complained whose wife had lost a breast to breast cancer and couldn't
breastfeed.

This is such a misguided response to that situation!
The person whose wife had lost a breast: did it never occur to anyone in the
hospital administration to ask him whether he honestly wanted to prevent
other women from getting information that could reduce the likelihood of
their losing a breast to this disease?
"I am so sorry to hear of your wife's experience, and I can understand the
grief she felt at not being able to breastfeed. And the current rates of
breast cancer are one of the most important reasons to promote, protect and
support breastfeeding - so that fewer women will find themselves in the
painful and frightening situation your wife did."

And we'll just skip the whole issue of why she was unable to breastfeed at
all after losing one breast. Sounds like your hospital should have at least
15 of you, Peg.
