In studying for step 3 of the boards, I'm using "Crush Step 3" by Adam
Brochert, MD (published by Elsevier.)

He recommends as treatment for mastitis:

Treat by stopping breastfeeding, obtaining milk for culture, and starting
an antistaphylococcal penicillin...  Evaluate the infant for
staphylococcal colonization if given the option.

Well, I've already taken a study break to contact the publisher.  I'm sure
the more HCP who contact them (particularly MDs, though any would be
good), the more likely this will be corrected.
