I have permission to post this question from another list serve. The mother
also reports intolerance of legumes. Doctor has done no testing for the
reported intolerances. The original post follows - Gail Lombardi

I have a mom that follows a low carbohydrate diet due to reported
intolerance to all grain products, milk, and yogurt (cheese is okay).
Subsequently she has ketones in her urine all the time. Does anyone know if
mom's ketosis could affect her breast milk composition and infant weight
gain?

As a side note she takes 1 Materna multi-vitamin/mineral per day and uses
fortified soy milk or fortified rice milk in place of cow's milk.

Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.
