I have been a lurker since passing the IBCLC exam last year, and have
learned tremendously from youall. To introduce myself, I am an RNC with
34 years of nursing, 20 yrs primarily L+D , who for the past 2 yrs has
been attempting to learn more about brfeeding to help the women we serve
at out hospital. We do about 500 dels/year and have never had a
lactation program until now, and I have clawed, begged and sold my soul
to get something going. I now have 20 hr/wk to do in-pt lactation
support, but really want to also get a Mom's support group returning
in=house post partum. Would any of you who have had experience from
starting this type of endeavor from the ground up be willing to share
info? I'm interested in rational, success stories, successful content
and the like. Please feel free to post me.
thanks, and have a good day,
Becky
