Yes! I agree with Wendy. Mom's comfort is the first thing I address too. I
sort of have a checklist:
1. Are you in a comfortable position where you can feed baby for the next
30 or 40 minutes?
2. Does your baby seem comfortable and relaxed?
3. Are you in any pain while bf?
4. Is baby transferring milk?

I don't have a problem with naming positions. I have started to use the
"laid back" position frequently, I guess over the last year or so. Very
successful esp with sleepy babies. One mom, who had attended my class while
pregnant, asked for my help with that "lazy position." So in my next class
I mentioned how moms like this position and that some even call it the
"lazy position." So yesterday a mom from that second class calls me in to
help her try the "lazy position." HaHa Certify that!
