I wanted to comment on the statement about the Not Breastfeeding Decision
& engorgement going away in 3 days.

I have to say that my situation was due to the death of my baby during
labor, but it took about 2.5 weeks for the engorgement to subside. It
was a very miserable experience. I was wearing bras which I abhor &
avoid when I can & also had cold & warm packs on my breasts plus took
several showers. Lots of milk & no baby!!! Because I was fragile
emotionally, I never thought to ask for medication plus the fact that I
tend to take care of myself naturally.

So, are you both saying that most mothers really do find that the Not BF
Decision really helps their engorgement resolve in 3 days, or I am
missing a joke or myth or fact. I am little unsure.

This is kind of important to me because I do get calls from
non-breastfeeding mothers complaining about engorgement or still having
milk several weeks after their baby's birth, and I would like to have
better info to disburse & not just relying on my personal experience &
what I have read.
