A question came up today during a discussion of human milk vs
formula (when I was TRYING to educate the head nurse on the unit where I
teach nursing students). Barb asked me about the long-term effects of
soy formulas. I replied that soy formulas haven't been around long
enough to know what the effects would be on adults.......was I right?
How long have they been around? Maybe 20 years?

Do we know whether the high aluminum content of soy will affect
adults down the road? Or have any of the babies who injested the stuff
reached adulthood yet?

I will be checking the archives for the names of the companies
that use the genetically-engineered soy beans.
