I had to share a sweet thing that happened.
My father (who has Alzheimers) was up visiting last week. Over time, he
has lost much of his word power and rarely speaks anymore. Anyway, we were
out at our local Farmers Market when one of my nursing moms came up to say
hi. She proudly showed off her 7 month old bruiser of a breastfed baby.
This mom had started out with big production concerns and infant weight
gain problems that we were able to smooth out - apparently very well from
the size of the kiddo! I introduced her to my dad who looked at the baby
and got a big grin on his face and told mom " Wow, you make cream!"
That earned my dad a big hug from both of us :)
