My understanding, having spoken to the LLL insurance representative some 
years ago (and things may have changed since then, I suppose) is the 
insurance doesn't cover things comparable to "malpractice." In other words, 
if you gave a mother incorrect information and the mother acted on that and 
something bad happened to her baby as a result, it is not covered by the 
insurance. However, that's not really a concern because, as a lay volunteer, 
you would not be held liable for this anyway. The insurance is really 
intended to cover things like property damage during LLL meetings, etc. 
Perhaps another Leader could clarify this and let us know if there are any 
changes?
