Hi Everyone
 I have a mom who has very high prolactin levels and has produced
gallons of milk and is still producing! baby is now 6 weeks old gaining
well mom has always set aside 1-3 ounces before feeding this very tiny
4lb 10 oz female so hind milk was a good factor in baby's wt gain.Baby
took 5.5 weeks to latch to breast and now is chocking on every mouth
full gets very angry and unlatches several times. Mom is still pumping
off to help to slow down matters a bit and wants her baby to get hind
milk but no matter how much or how little she pumps there is so much
milk and mom and baby are very frustrated. She does feed only on one
side per feeding, lots of wet diapers and stools, wt gain now over 7lbs
tries to sit baby up to feed pumps at the beginning to attempt to
decrease let down to no avail, baby is still not fully to the breasts
but has come a long way I mentioned I would ask the group of very wise
people to help me out on this. Anything one can use herbal or otherwise
to decrease this milk supply? It is kinda odd we are usually trying to
increase milk supply.
