Good Afternoon Sara,
I saw a wonderful mid-19th century orrery on exhibit at the University Museum, University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. I went on the museum's website and found this.....
http://museum.olemiss.edu/collections/millington-barnard/
As a recycled museum anthropologist, I don't know beans about an orrery, but I am fascinated by 19th century gizmos....and the orrery on exhibit at Ole Miss is magnificent and quite large.
Best Wishes,
Wesley

Hi there.

Do any of you have a solar system orrery at your institution? It's a mechanical model which shows the positions of the planets orbiting around the Sun.

Thanks!

Sara
