Beeswax is mainly a polish. Also for lapping. Not only in the production of cartridges and ammunition, but also in confectionery for polishing chocolate lentils and sugar shells.

As far as I know, the procedure is the same for everything, at a certain stage of production, the product is moved to a mixer, and under certain conditions, a polish is added.

How much polish is needed? A lot of them. For spreading on the surface of the product. Chocholate lens for children and ammunition for shooting. If war is planned and waged, a lot of ammunition in all calibers is needed. There is nothing worse for survival than a jammed gun.

ELEY established in 1828, is now globally recognised as the manufacturer of the most consistently accurate .22LR rimfire ammunition in the world.

The main difference, however, is texture. Beeswax tallow produces a softer, thicker and stickier lubricant as opposed to pure paraffin. As a result, it creates a much more accurate round, because the softer wax minimises the effects of chambering. Through tribological testing and verification, this effect has been examined by ELEY. As such, it is why ELEY apply it to its competitive, high-end ammunition such as ELEY tenex and ELEY match. It’s designed for precision and for those competing at the highest levels who want the most accurate ammunition available.

And I googled that very briefly. Gustav Palan.
