I have pictures somewhere but no controlled study. IMO, it should be
simple to recruit a northern beekeeper to run two or three hives in each
configuration starting now.. We may or may not have more minus forty
weather before spring.
Hard to say, though. It could as easily go to plus twenty here for a
few days as go to minus thirty due to that cold air passing through from
Alaska that the folks in the US blame on us Canucks).
