None at all -  your idea of understanding the baby and being patient is the
best, IMHO!

This poor mother is a week post surgery and as well as feeding a baby day
and night, she is pumping, doing breast compression and switch nursing.....
She doesn't need to do any of that from what I can see - her bf
relationship and success will return if she just lets the baby set the pace
without all the other stuff getting in the way. I wouldn't even mention the
offer of more frequent feeds before bed time - just let mother and baby go
with the flow. It will all work out soon.
