I've searched the lactnet archives regarding fasting but did not find the
answer to my question. What concerns might there be with toxins being purged
through breastmilk during fasting? Is this a concern to anyone? My own
thoughts are that short-term fasts are probably pretty insignificant, no
more of an issue than having the flu and not eating for that reason for a
few days, either. I'm not sure about medium to long-term fasts (several days
or longer). Thoughts?
