Mandy and others have asked why you need an MD/dentist for this...
This may only be an old wives tale, but i recall hearing/reading that
midwives of old kept a fingernail long and sharp to snip tongue ties. I
believe it used to be done very frequently (probably too often) (not
necessarily by the midwife fingernail!) before it fell into disrepute and
wasn't done at all... which is why we have so much problem now.
Any comments Kathy D? Have you heard/read of this?
