I am interested in this question. I too have seen that picture, but in my
fairly limited experience of the Muslim women who deliver at our hospital, I
find they do not want to breastfeed in public at all and in fact we have a
curtain in our breastfeeding classroom which has come in handy for these
women, who come to the class veiled. In their own rooms they do not in my
experience breastfeed in front of a man who is not their husband. Does anyone
have any informed insight into this topic?
