Nah, I don't think so.  The current "cocktails" have put many people into
what seems to be permanent "remission" with undetectable levels of virus and
a return of normal health.  They don't work for everyone, but they work for
enough people that the gay community has relaxed a lot of their precautions
-- meaning more spread of HIV.  And I guess I have a lot of faith in the
medical researchers.  Progress is steadily being made on so many diseases,
including cystic fibrosis, that finally the genetic counselors are no longer
telling pregnant women they should abort for cf any more.
