Kathy and Paul Koch wrestled with a keyboard and this emerged:
> This baby is seen at a military medical facility. Unfortunately, in a
> remote military station, it is sometimes impossible ask for another ENT.
A dentist, perhaps?
I had a client whose careprovider noted a tight frenulum, then sent
her home with nary a caution and grossly inadequate follow-up. Baby
was readmitted @ 8 days severely jaundiced, dehydrated and losing
weight. Mom was cracked and bleeding. I can understand stepping
back to see if the frenulum will be a problem, after all it isn't in
all cases, but this was negligent. With the help of a wonderful LC
at the hospital and many hours of patient guidence from me, happily
we were able to get the pair on track again. Good luck with this mom.
Regards,
Beth
