Question about "nipple pain" & what you said about this perhaps originating
from the distention of the ducts/sinuses:

Have you ever noticed or read about this in relation to pre-BFing breast
size/elasticity/etc.? A personal example: before I had my 1st child, I had
pretty small, "tight" breasts (A-cup or less). I experienced fierce
engorgement (mostly r/t restricted BFing practices)and unbearably painful
nipples. Then when I had my twins, my breasts were much more elastic (from
previous nsg.), and less painful engorgement and somewhat less painful
nipples. I always figured it was because I knew more about BFing by then,
and because I nursed ad lib rather than following "the rules" (as presented
by nurses,docs, etc.).

But I'm wondering if anyone has noticed any correlation between breast size,
or more probably breast elasticity, & nipple pain? Perhaps similar to the
differences in storage capacity of different breasts?
